I read this book twice a couple years back and was thrilled to see it hit Audible, and was so excited to know that the author herself was the narrator! I could not stop listening, and once again it reiterated to me how faithful the Lord is, and that He can be trusted, no matter what season of life you are in! Melody’s faith shines through, and she speaks candidly about her struggles and doubts, while using humor too. It leaves you awestruck by all she and her husband Phil endured during this time, and even more awestruck to witness their genuine trust in the Lord. Phil reads his own very moving chapter about caregiving. They are both captivating and genuine narrators, and you’ll want to listen in one sitting! I highly recommend this for anyone, no matter if you’re experiencing hardship, trials or not, as it will make you reflect, cry, laugh and mostly deepen your faith.
