Because J. (Jim) Michael Corley’s grandparents came from the Ozarks, he imagined the shepherds speaking with a southern drawl in the Christmas story. The result is laced with humor, insights, and folksy wisdom. Harley drawls his humorous version of the Christmas story about his encounter with the heavenly host of angels, Mary, and the baby Jesus. Makes a great script for a one-actor Christmas play.
