Love this series!

Enemies to lovers is a trope I love, always having that underlying love at first sight feeling. In the case of Bebe and Cal, we have so much chemistry, it is off the charts! Bebe is stuck in an arranged engagement and is now having to set the date for a wedding she doesn't want to have happen. To prevent losing all her firsts to a man she doesn't love, she seeks out some one to enjoy them with. Cal is someone she has been attracted to forever, and when he offers his services, with conditions from both sides, the two begin their journey. I loved this story for a couple of reasons. First, Jenna Sutton writes with such passion, that I get caught up in her characters. She includes the community of others we have met in other books, giving that feeling of home. Second, the romancing and emotions of Cal and Bebe is so intoxicating, it's fun, flirty and the twists at the end unexpected!

I can never say enough good things about Ava Lucas. Each time I hear her narrations, I am drawn in. I love her in this series, as she consistently keeps the voices from each character from book to book! Plus, I love her warmth as she narrates. Her performance let me see the book unfold in my mind as I listened. It is an amazing narration you will want to grab and listen to!

Cal💘Bebe! Fabulous Audible Listen🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥

This is the third book of the Riley O’Brien series and I loved everything about it, the way it was written, the storylines, the characters and how well their story is told. Jenna Sutton creates the heartfelt stories that are realistic and entertaining from start to end. Her characters are complex and well developed. This book is Cal O’Brien and Bebe’s story. Bebe is Teagan’s best friend and her brother Cal always admired her but thought she hated him. When he overheard a conversation between his sister and Bebe he decided to make her a proposition and help her with her dilemma. She goes with it and the two come up with a deal. I loved how their story played out, the bizarre way their relationship started off to when they realized that they loved each other. There is a lot going on in this book, in addition to the drama and hot romance between Cal and Bebe, she had issues with her family which was heartbreaking, she also had to deal with her arranged marriage. I loved how everything played out, Cal was so sweet and understanding and the chemistry between the two was smoking. It was also great to see the other characters from the first two books. Jenna Sutton, thank you for another great story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Ava Lucas is a fabulous narrator and voice performer. She continues to bring these characters to life, gives each their own distinct voice and personality. She does a great job projecting the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story into her performance. Ava Lucas is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Loved it

I have read a few books from Jenna Sutton and I have enjoyed the other books in this series. The narrator, Ava Lucas did a fabulous job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and this absolutely enhanced my listening enjoyment. It is not often that I can comfortably listen to a woman portray a male character but Ava Lucas manages to pull the male voices off so well that I often forget it is not a man voicing these parts such is her ability.
Oh how I loved Cal O’Brien (in truth he has fascinated me since he was first mentioned in the series)and Bebe Banerjee, both separately and together. There is just something about this pairing that I really loved and I found myself anxious to listen to their story.
This was at times an emotional read as the author touched on some controversial situations with arranged marriages etc. but throughout it all there was love and hope.
I particularly enjoyed hearing the epilogue and finding out where the characters are now.

Sassy, sexy and funny ...

I could not give Hanging by a Thread a five star review. Although I ultimately warmed up to the characters and the story itself, the slow start made it touch and go for a while. The O'Brien siblings were a joy. Teagan comes across somewhat flighty, Quinn thrives on being the older sibling and Cal seemed to be a little lost. The affection that they displayed for each other is evident in every interaction between them. Hanging by a Thread is Cal's story and Bebe's story. Bebe has book smarts but is lacking in matters of the heart. An arranged engagement and a chilly relationship with her family has left her lonely and in doubt of herself as a woman. Teagan, her best friend and the O'Brien family have become a lifeline. Her surrogate family, but her feelings for Cal (Teagan's brother) are anything but familial. Cal and Bebe run hot and cold. When Bebe's unwanted fiancee starts making demands, she decides to take a chance. A slow start proved a large hurdle but the O'Brien family proved to be the saving grace for this sassy, sexy and funny story.

To Firsts...

Steamy but sweet. Definitely for mature readers only!

Bebe was stuck in an impossible situation... she has one year to try and get out of it. Within that one year, there are many firsts she’d like to experience, and that’s where Cal comes in.

Jenna Sutton has written the perfect story. Tons of steamy scenes, but all tied together with a sweet and believable storyline. Fantastic!

Ava Lucas delivered a great performance. I love how she brought the story to life.

It had me hanging on the edge of my seat!

All I can say is wow! I won this book from a facebook drawing. I love Ava's sultry voice and once again she was a stellar storyteller. I have never listened or read any of Jenna Sutton's books before. Well I have to say is she has been added to my tbr pile. Obviously since I haven't read any of Ms. Sutton's books before I have not read any if the previous books in this series. I did not have to read them to understand this book. I have become a die hard fan of this author and continue to fangirl about Ava Lucas!
