Best book ever

If this book was made into a movie it would surpass all the Halloween franchise I pictured the book going like a movie and feeling everything

pretty good

One of the better novelizations I have read. The kills were brutal and it was nice being in Michael's head a bit.

I do wish they were able to use the Halloween soundtrack. it would have made this a 5 star easy.

Good ending

Emily Sutton Smith always does an excellent job, she is one of my favorite narrators. As usual with the Halloween saga and this is no different you find yourself going why why do this do that why are you doing this…… as usual it does not disappoint
Needless to say I’m not inviting any of them to assist me in a zombie apocalypse lol it would take too long to get out of any situation.
Just sit back and enjoy this series that started so many years ago and it was a completely different time then with what we expected from a movie experience just remember this follows the same process as it was created so long ago.
Needless to say audiobooks at that time, at least to my recollection did not exist.

love the halloween series. wanted to give this a shot. can visualize the movie as its being read.

The narrator did a great job of the audio of the book. Its was a ok book.

Satisfying

For the most part, I enjoyed the book. Eventhough I've seen the movie several times, I was still interested in reading the book. They always say books are better tha their movie counterparts. Not sure in this case. I was disappointed there wasn't more backstory for some of the characters such as Officer Hawkins, Dr. Sartain, etc. It would have been nice to had it filled in some of the gaps since that first dreadful Halloween night. Last, the narrator was a bit boring at times in her readings.

like watching a movie. very informative. and gives you better discription than the movie does.

Good story

This was a good story, but the use of the words “the shape” 899 times was a little much. It would have been more connecting to the character if they just called him Micheal, or Meyers. The words “the shape” just made it weird.
