Engaging and captivating

Hearing Steve and Jen voice John and Cortana for their respective stories was thrilling in addition to the wonderful work during the rest of the collection

I love this whole book, very encapsulating. I love all of the different perspectives. all around it is a work of immersive art.

Great stories from the Halo universe

I loved everything about this book. I enjoyed all the stories and those who narrated it. I wish some of the story's had their own book. I would love to listen to a longer version of the "Mona Lisa" story.
10/10 I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Halo.

Great narration and stories

Awesome to see they got both Master Chief’s and Cortana’s voice actors to narrate their respective stories.

It was nice to listen to

The stories were really interesting and gives a little more to the world of the Halo Universe. I loved hearing about the different stories outside the main games. The voices reading the books were really nice, and added to the characters by actually speaking in a tone that fits the feeling of the moment

one bad narrator

one of the stories has a very monotone quick speaking narrator. otherwise this is a must have.

Good to hear some side stories but..

I enjoy the Halo side stories that flesh out more of the universe and the way the various civilizations work. The issue I had with it though that made one of the stories, "midnight in the heart of midlothian" the narrator didn't really seem very experienced with narrating a story as he was quite monotone and uninteresting throughout the story which made it boring to listen to."

Great stories. Some authors better than others.

Many of the stories use incorrect terminology for military terms. People in the unsc would be part of the navy and therefore not called soldiers, but seamen. Additionally no gun in the unsc uses “clips” they are magazines.

Voice actors occasionally mispronounce words which takes you out of universe. Great stories though.
