Absolutely loved this book! The ending scene was NOT what I wasn’t expecting but it was a thrill and I loved it!

Only complaint is I wish the baby birth and life had been included too but besides that loved it!

MMC lost his wife and child, his 1st mate and got a new one, it took 3 years of no touching since his wife died for him to touch someone, and that was a human girl, and after he touches her he accidentally triggered a mating bond now he can't ever leave her so what happens when the mission is over and she goes to the surface
he knows he can't survive another mate lost
the FMC learns about the mating bond and they try to make things work for the time being when she is under the water, because she can't stay there forever, or can she?
