I can relate with her only so far as she tries to be a good person. That is where it ends. I can understand her needing support after her parents were taken, and being lonely. I suspect that's why she's a pushover with the people in her home. Shauna is obnoxious, selfish, simple minded, and just garbage. I can't stand her. It clearly says this in the book, but seriously, please let her get caught in a bug zapper. Now, another point of contention is Paige's treatment of Nico, she's just plain mean, not cool. Her life would be so much more interesting with him in it. Team Nico. Finished book 2, she needs to rethink her choice in men in general, wow. Entertaining stuff however, liked Lizzie's happy ending.

omg. best current story ever

The narration is absolutely fantastic, I do wish Nico's voice was a little bit deeper but it's really good. pay each is a cleaner she owns your own company your parents disappeared. She works in a strip mall near a private eye whom if you've read some other series by these groups you'll recognize. they both have the hots for each other and I just can't wait till we figure out what's going on there. she's being stalked and they still can't figure out who it is. A new guy enters your life we'll see what happens there. her views on the supernatural are changing which it's good. I'm still wondering where her real background is she's stronger than other people even though she says she's human. It just seems like she might be a little bit more and she's just not aware of it I like to see where that's going to go. I can't wait for the next installment

Well things just keep happening

Just when you think life has thrown it all at you no it throws another curve ball. And the end of this book is no exception. And either Nico or the nice police officer is going to get this next phone call maybe both of them. And damn can that pixie/vamp get a laugh out of my she has a temper to beat anyone an attitude to boot.
This series is not what I was expecting it’s better. I’ll definitely being looking into listening to more of this series.
Also the narrator is doing a wonderful job.

Fun 2nd book

I enjoyed getting to know the characters more. Understanding the world dynamic is frustrating but that's how it is suppose to be but Paige is breaking through the power and corruption. So many different directions the story can go. I was so happy with the KJ storyline.

Perfect sequel

Werewolves, vampires and pixies hopped up on sugar oh my!! And let's not forget the serial killer. This is the interesting world Paige lives in and I love it!

This audiobook, #2 picks up right from where audiobook #1 left off so no time was wasted. The sassy snarky humor had me bustin a gut and my son lookin at me like i was insane. 😁. It's action packed and fast paced.

I highly recommend this audiobook but also recommend starting with the first audiobook. If you like unique stories with multiple supernatural entities and lots of humor these are worth every penny.

Fun story

Entertaining story, perfect for when I don't want to have to think too hard to follow a story. The performance brings the characters to life with sass in all the right places.

Loved it!

This is a great series but works as a stand alone also. Love the characters and storyline and now I NEED book 3! Lol
