Numerous Gods and tales of Roman mythology have their origins in Greek mythology; with slight adaptations in names, places, and the nitty gritty parts. For example, Hercules in Roman mythology is referred to as Heracles in Greek, so be sure to check out my other books, too.

Myths you must know

This bundle of books gives listeners a quick and easy glimpse into these three different mythologies. It is a nice way to introduce the younger generation to the tales of old and the Gods and heroes that they worshiped. Based on many of the tidbits and jokes while the information is given it seems that these books are geared towards the younger generation. I enjoy mythology of any kind and while I knew much of the information in these books, they are an engaging listen. A good way to wet a youngster’s appetite and get them curious to find out more information. Narrator Jason Hunt does a good job of keeping the narrative flowing and lighthearted to keep a listener engaged and enjoying the information.

Interesting

I enjoyed this series. I loved all the little jokes and references peppered throughout the books. My only wish is that it would have been longer. To much time was spent introducing you to all the "characters" than on the myths themselves. More time was spent on detailing the myths would have made this a solid 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book. It had loads of information with the occasional humor thrown in to keep you interested. Learned something new today. Thank you

i loved listening to these Myths Roman Greek and Egyptian so cool to listen to them instead of reading

Trying to be funny non stop.

This book is comprised mostly of quirky remarks that are not well written. It is distracting and makes you end the audiobook prematurely

A Good First Foray

The author's light-hearted tone remains consistent throughout this audiobook, making for a very easy listen. Many of the jokes are rather topical, and expired, but they don't distract from the overall book. The information presented is nothing ground-breaking, but this book never claims to be. I imagine the target audience is a young adult who may be vaguely familiar with these mythologies and would like to have a good time learning more about them. Overall, this was a very easy listen, an enjoyable experience, and would make a good first foray into these ancient mythologies.

reference books with pesonality

I love free books, as this was for me. It's not my usual pick for an audio book but I was curious. I think this would be a good reference book to listen to if you don't have any background in these myths. The narrator did a very good job, especially when reading the modern notes that the author thoughtfully included as relevant comparisons.
