When he discovers the secret Nora hides behind her clothes, will Grave push her away like he has everyone else, or will he fight her battles and his own to find happiness?

a slow burn adventurous tale

I love the writing style. I have read other books by this author. I am always drawn to the characters and unique storyline. bravo!

Awesome Story!!

I totally enjoyed listening to this book. The romance between Grave and Nora was touching and the suspense and intrigue of the plot was excellent. The science fiction aspect of the story line with a medieval twist was intriguing. I’m totally looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. The narrator does an excellent job in bringing the story to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun, pleasure, and excitement!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this book. I started out just listening here and there because I thought it would be mostly erotic. But the story and the characters captured me, and I found myself craving jumping into their world every chance I got.
There is action, mystery, romance, intimacy, etc - turns out it has alllll the elements of eroticism to turn on your mind, heart, and spirit too! Well done L.H. Whitlock - an original storyline, great characters, and a beautiful world you’ve created.
The performance was good - I still gave him 5 stars because of how he was able to change his voice for all the characters. He just needed to choose a way to pronounce “Rycker” and stick with it, lol. Still, he made the characters fun!

Bad Book

Though this would be a good book it was not. Very disappointed will not get the other two and am returning this one.
