What an awesome story

I really enjoyed this book and all the characters including the four legged ones. I enjoyed the different aspects of Granny and trying to figure out what was happening. Can’t wait to read the next one.

Serious Chuckle time

If you're looking for a serious or die hard mystery this may not be for you. However, if you want a fun, fast-paced & quick story to crack you up, then take a chance on Granny. That's not to say that there isn't a mystery going on. Granny works for the stores in town as undercover security. In this first book, we're introduced to the characters in town as Granny goes on her "rounds". Things come up missing from many stores & at one point Granny starts to doubt her sanity. I don't want to say more because it's too much fun to hear it yourself. She's just sassy, funny & sometimes just plain crazy but I want to be Granny when I grow up; umbrella and all.

Very Entertaining Granny Cozy Mystery

Granny leads a secret life in the small community of Fuschia, Minnesota. This granny has shocking sexy bedtime attire, eats junk food, acquires 4 pets and has been helping local stores as an undercover cop, charged by "the Big Guy" (the town's police chief) of preventing theft in local stores. Granny takes her job seriously and daily foils many shoplifters using her trusty spiked umbrella and amazing acting skills. When some startlingly brazen burglaries begin to occur that Granny can't solve, along with mysteriously appearing bad guys, disappearing clerks, and misplaced Corvettes, Granny begins to wonder if she isn't ready for the wrinkle farm. This is a very enjoyable short story and I am not that far from granny's age and could picture myself and some of my friends doing this to help people.

Pretty good story, narrator needs practice.

The story was good, I think the narrator needs a little more practice. I’m going to read the rest of the series, the characters are quirky and interesting, and I enjoyed it.
