Terrific story and mystery

Really enjoyed this book. Kept me interested all the way through. Character development was well done and realistic for the three main characters. I loved how the author brought me along from first impressions to a deeper understanding of the complexity of the characters and how they developed. I would recommend!

Wrong title, interesting moral debates

I enjoyed the characters, very believable. End was total Karma in my opinion. Surprised to see some didn’t get it!

Narrators were Devine!

I thoroughly enjoyed the narrators as they brought the story to life. You could literally see and feel each of them as they progressed through this experience together. As to not give a spoiler…I’ll stop here, but will add…it was highly entertaining, thought provoking and ponder worthy. Enjoy!

Ambivalent

I really enjoyed both the story and the performances of all 3 women, but I don’t understand what happened at the end. It just suddenly took a weird turn. I thought it was only me who got lost, but apparently not because I now see that other reviewers are confused and disappointed with how the story concludes. Would I recommend this book to a friend? I’m honestly not sure. I will say though that it kept me hooked, and that each narrator brought something special to the story.

so many missed opportunities

Pretty good story. Kept my interest from start to finish. Worth the credit, narrator was good.

mixed feelings

The story had an interesting premise. but fell flat. No big aha moment or feeling of accomplishment. The end did not explain what the whole book was about.

30 years later

3 wives with “good husbands” (men who were loving, good fathers and providers), discover their husbands had raped a girl 30 years ago. The story is their response to this news, I found their resulting behavior to be totally unrealistic. Book did hold my interest and the narrator did a good job.

Just okay

This was a rather convoluted and unrealistic read - not a fatal flaw - but the rest was just not interesting. I can live with implausible, but not boring. Sorry.
