Love this series!

The narration is stellar, the plot and pace is break neck speed. Highly recommend you start from book one.

Fantastic characters

I liked the twists and turns. It was great to have so many different life stories going on at the same time then somehow meshing together.

Hard to beat this series author and narrator! Don’t miss it.

Unpredictable plot twists in this suspenseful story, sprinkled with both hilarious and sweet moments. Well-developed characters and scenes with zero drag in this whole book series. Also, such a pleasure listening to the narrator with his perfect pacing and variable pitch helping the story come to life.

Best one yet!! Amanda cracks me up...

The story had some nice twists... Amanda, had me laughing. Ted finally had some good things happening in his life!!

My favorite of the series. I love Amanda and her sense of humor. Actual gave a chuckle out loud on occasion.

I want MORE!!!!

I have gone thru the 3 book series in less than a week. I love all the characters....Amanda, Ted, Lillian, Lawrence Superfish, Chief Clark, the Senior Citzens' Biker Club.

And Euan Morton is an amazing narrator.

Hope there is a 4th book in the series.

Good series

The story and the narrator are well matched. I have listened to all of the series and enjoy the characters, even the animals are individual characters. The things that happen are not always pleasant, but the main characters pull me into the mysteries. The story a bit of everything - gritty, quirky, sad, funny, hopeful all the time trying to solve mysteries in Australia, Keeps my attention from start to finish with the excellent story and narrator.

Need more

I actually fell in love with the Crimson Lake series and their characters...the backstory of relationships and the dark criminal procedures was spectacular. Another crimson lake book in the series?!

I remain fans of Ted and Amanda

I've never been a series reader but the author has me sold on this one. The story line keeps with twist, turns, mystery and humor.

I hope we get more.

Well written and engaging story. Characters come to life. Not the same old rehashed remake of a worn out storyline.
