Acerca de esta escucha

There is no better way to comprehend our Abba's love for us than through The Parable of the Prodigal Son. However, one might miss significant insights if interpreted from a Western Christian perspective. Studying it from the ancient Jewish biblical context—considering Jesus was a Jewish rabbi in 1st-century Israel—can reveal layers of the parable in unprecedented ways and demonstrate God's unconditional love in ways you've never seen before!

This concise but powerful book promises to be a transformative experience!

The book made some good points and was worth listening to. I think it could have gone deeper, but understand that the author's intent was to keep it brief. The Church has really missed the main thrust of this parable over the centuries, at least in my opinion. It is more about the father's love than the prodigal son and when you look at what the father did and did not do, it really challenges some of the traditional thoughts on God's love and justice that we have all been taught. I definitely recommend this book, but believe additional resources would help anyone really wanting to dig into the subject.

The narration needs some editing. I thought parts repeated and eventually realized the narrator went back to correct something and the mistake wasn't edited out.

It made some good points
