I am a huge fan of Corinne Michaels and, as always, this book definitely did not disappoint.

Powerful

This was a compelling story. Vanessa has become a narrator I am starting to get used to. This is only my third or fourth audio book with her. It deals with loss, love and healing. There was steam, comedy, sadness, suspense and that ending.

Great Second Chance that had me laughing & crying

4.5⭐️ “You are my weakness. You are the only thing in this world that means more to me than my own life.” Review: This is book 2 in the Rose Canyon Series, but it can be read as a standalone. I adored Emmett in book 1, Help Me Remember, so I was intrigued about him when his "wife" walked in at the end of book 1. I was so intrigued. Blakely and Emmett met in the Military and became Best Friends. They endured so much together and decided to get married for a few different reasons. Only it's been a few years since they have seen each other. When Blakely walks back into Emmett's life, she completely tips his world off the axis. Blakely is one strong woman and I adored her. I kind of want to be her when I grow up.😂 Emmett was pretty perfect and made me swoon many times. I felt for him as he tried to protect his heart from getting broken a second time. These two had me laughing with their banter. These two are fiesty and the chemistry and fire between them builds until it explodes. I loved the flashbacks to the past and there were a few emotional parts that had me bawling. When I thought I knew where the story was going, Corinne threw in a plot twist.😭 The book was a little slow start for me, but it picked up and was really good! This was a great addition to this series. I loved the side characters and updates we got. I enoy these characters and this world. We got a sneak into Holden's situation and his book is next! I read the first half of the book, but life took over and I ran out of time so I switched and listened to the Audiobook by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin. I listened to it at 1.4x and it was perfect. They did such a great job bringing Emmett and Blakely to life and wringing out every emotion from me. I could picture them perfectly!

Better than the first

This book was far better than the first one. You really fell in love with the characters and the storyline and plot only got better. I love the ending and the bonus of scene. Looking forward to another book by Corinne Michaels.

Incredible! One of her best!

This was such a great book! I laughed, ugly cried and cried tears of joy. I can’t wait for the next book. Loving this series!

Another Great Book!

I fell in love with Emmett and Blakely and their story. You will get love, suspense, romance and will feel like there are still good people in this world. This one is a must read; I think all of Corinne Michaels books are a must read. This story is definitely one of my favorites.

Captivating and suspenseful romance!!!

Give Me Love is a stunning and captivating love story. This suspense romance is powerfully moving, emotionally raw, beautifully inspiring, and breathtakingly romantic. An unforgettable masterpiece delivered with so much heart and soul that I fell deeper in love with the characters and their journey with each turn of the page. Emmett and Blakely have an undeniable connection and incredible chemistry. I loved the push and the pull. The storyline is incredibly well-written and a rollercoaster of emotions. I could feel everything the characters experienced; the emotions radiated from the pages. I laughed, cried, felt the butterflies, every ounce of pain and all the joy. Oh, and those swoon-worthy moments are positively breathtaking! A beautiful story of forgiveness and fighting for what you want. The unconditional love and support of family and friends is a huge part of what I loved about this book -- I adored the friendships. A powerful and poignant story that left a mark on my heart and soul. I’m truly in awe of this story and I would give it 10 stars if I could! This is one book you want to listen to!

Fascinating

This book is about Army Teammates who became good friends, got married to stay stationed close to each other and fell in love in the process. She has some MAJOR baggage about loving and losing though so she had a very hard time accepting that she had fallen in love with Emmett.

She had taken a job in DC, something in one of her cases leads her to his doorstep. While they work together to find some semblance of a relationship they also have to work together to catch a bad guy or three lol

So there is the major plot that is laid at your feet to follow then the plot twists come. One is minor and fits like a piece to the puzzle Corinne is laying out for us, some are quite fun to find!

This book was deep in the suspense while being deep in the romance angst between these two headed Army combat vets lol

I like that they settled down SOME while still using their investigative skills and hearts to follow dreams of helping others.

I like how in the epilogue we get to see the immediate answer to the thing Holden brought to Emmett at the beginning of the book all the while leaving us curious for more! (Which we can get with his book!)

This beautiful story was brought to life by Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke. I absolutely love both of these super talented narrators!

Wow

It's hard to put down my thoughts on this story. This book was fantastic. As this is the second book in this series Corinne brings back some characters from the first but the main plot revolves around Blakely and Emmett. And what a story. This gives you ALL the feels. I even had tears in my eyes while listening in the car on my way to work. The narration by Jason and Vanessa was superb.. Do yourself a favor..listen.
