A good listen

Contrary to other reviews-I had no problem with the narrator. A little choppy but I got a kind of tomboyish effect from it. Nothing is totally clear until the end-which I always prefer. I would recommend.

Mind blowing

I couldn’t stop listening. There are so many plot twists just when you think you have it solved. I really enjoyed it!

This is a really good book and the ending has a crazy twist. The narrator did a great job with reading.

The plot was good. The narrator was just OK. All the male voices sounded the same to me.

Intriguing storyline

Enjoyed the characters, but Lee came across as too much of a softie. Also, the ending was rushed, as if everything had to happen in the last few minutes. Some unexpected twists in the end.

Fantastic story and narration. It is a page turner that holds your attention and is full of suspense.

Surprising! I couldn't wait to hear more. I will definitely read more Cristina Alger books.

VERY meh

The performance is not awful if a little dry and the characters have an interesting premise. but in the end, all the emotional beats ring hollow and the final twist is exceedingly obvious from the first second the character involved is introduced - excruciatingly obvious and yet also somehow a little inconsistent for the plot lmao. I would definitely not recommend this title, although it is not awful.

Well developed plot, tied the ends logically, good twists & turns. Wonder if this was inspired by real life.
