Jason Thomas had always been obsessed with the ghost stories he'd watched on television from the time he was a kid. Wade Rivers loved spending time with Jason, even if it meant he'd have to endure another creepy, supposedly haunted location. The chance to spend a weekend alone in a famous haunted house was too much for Jason to resist and almost too much for Wade to endure. He knew going to the deserted house was everything Jason had ever dreamed of, so Wade tried to put his fears aside. But when paranormal things start to happen, admitting to Jason how he feels suddenly isn't the scariest thing Wade will encounter.

Fantastic!! Absolutely loved this!!

This was fantastic!! I seriously enjoyed this story. It had friends to lovers troupe filled with a haunted house, spooky ghosts and a possession! I loved getting to know Wade and Jason!! I loved the narration. This was my first time listening to anything by Allen Jeffries. He did a fantastic job distinguishing between the characters.

A spooky, paranormal romance suspense!

This is book 1 in the Valley of Ghost series. (This one os a continuing series so it's best read in the series order.)

Allen Jeffries has also done a great job narrating this and distinguishing between the character's voices.

I loved this book. Allen Jeffries really brings this story to life and makes you love the character even more. Jason has always been fascinated by ghosts. Jason goes a investigates the old haunted house and brings his best friend Wade with him. They have been friends since childhood. Wade loves the idea of spending time with Jason even if he has to deal with spooky ghosts. When things start going crazy. They both find out the ghosts want help moving on. Will this haunting be what brings them together?

An M/M ghost story?! I'm so ready for this!!!

Now this book pushed a lot of pleasure buttons for me. For one, I grew up on ghost stories so the idea of two buddies bonding over a mutual interest in the paranormal as reported in television programs like 'That's Incredible' and 'Ripley's Believe It or Not', is just plain wonderful. I enjoyed both shows when they aired. Then there's the unrequited love of Wade Rivers who, now that he's older, is just going along for the ride with Jason Thomas's ghost-hunting obsession. The haunted location visits give Wade an opportunity to spend alone time with Jason, who appears to overlook Wade's interest. It takes a really big scare at an actual haunted house to make Jason confess that he is romantically interested in Wade, too! But there's little time to celebrate that revelation because the ghosts are real and capable of class 5 corporeal manifestations including telekinesis and possession! Competently narrated by Allen Jeffries, BL Maxwell's 'Ghost Hunted' is a shiver-inducing story with a warm, loving center. I'm looking forward to more love between the main characters and more genuine scares from the haunts in this delightful series.

Wonderful Narration of a Ghostly & Spooky Romance!

Allen Jeffries does a BRILLIANTLY WONDERFUL job of bringing Jason and Wade to life. Ghost Hunted is Book 1 in the Valley Ghost series and was the perfect listen for me. I love Allen's wonderfully deep voice and I really enjoyed his previous narrations from the Blood Beneath Stone series. I was beyond thrilled and delighted to hear that he would be voicing the Running Scared Paranormal crew. What a thrilling, chilling, and delightful first audiobook in this hauntingly amazing series.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud so many times during this audiobook. I especially enjoyed Wade's voice when it hit a special octave after the Chalmers started haunting both men. I could feel the fear and shivered. Allen's voice is amazing and it was as though I was with both men being terrified by spirits. His voice as Jimbo was spot on and exactly how I imagined it. I'm so excited to hear more from Allen Jeffries in this wonderful series. BL Maxwell did another amazing job of selecting the right narrator for her Valley Ghost series.

Loved so much!!!

I loved this story so much! I definitely need more of these stories and this series! The action was great and so was the love story. This was a friends to lovers romance and it was done so well. These two friends go into a haunted house and that’s when things truly start to get interesting. I loved the spooky ghosts and the suspense along with the possession! This is just an overall really great story that is a joy to listen to. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and the action!

Good start to a series

I quite liked the concept of the story, of Jason and Wade ghost hunting as close friends that become more as the story progresses. What I found lacking was the narration. Throughout the story, the emotion and emphasis of the words themselves didn’t seem to fit what was actually happening. There were also a few moments where the character’s voices were mixed up and it was a little jarring to hear Jason’s voice say something Wade was saying and vice versa. Overall though I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, hopefully with a better narration.

I had to return the book, story would have been great the narrator was SOOOOOO bad the voice he used for Jason was this over the top nasal annoying voice...the voice he used for his friend was abnormally upbeat ALLL the time like he was constantly happy and high regardless wether he was scared in love or any other emotion.......HORRIBLE HORRIBLE NARRATOR. Seriously needs to be redone

The narrator is terrible!! Plot from the description seemed interesting, but the narration was so bad that I am actually requesting a refund,
