MC romance

Ghost by Julia Stone is an excellent MC romance. Brisa Knight did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, dark romantic, intense, and more. Ghost is the first book in Steelwoof MC series.

Ghost and Eliza

The first installment of the Steelwood MC - Willowbrook Ridge series, featuring Ghost and Eliza. I found the storyline engaging and the characters well-developed, particularly the dynamic between Ghost and the protected Eliza. The shared series arc and the "Happy For Now" conclusion were well-executed, and I especially enjoyed Brisa Knight’s narration of their story.

Dark, Intense MC Romance That Pulls You In

Ghost by Julia Stone kicks off the Steelwood MC series with a story that’s equal parts gritty, emotional, and addictive—especially in audiobook form.

Ghost is exactly the kind of character you expect from an MC romance: rough around the edges, fiercely protective, and used to living by his own rules. But what makes his story compelling is the internal conflict he faces after taking Eliza away from the life her father planned for her. He believes he’s saving her, yet he knows the line between protector and captor is dangerously thin. That tension drives much of the story and keeps things interesting from start to finish.

Eliza’s journey is just as engaging. After spending her entire life controlled by her father, being thrown into Ghost’s chaotic world forces her to question everything she thought she knew about freedom and choice. Watching her grow stronger and begin to see the man behind Ghost’s hardened exterior adds emotional depth to the story.

The audiobook narration really helps bring the characters and atmosphere to life. The tone captures the darker, intense mood of the Steelwood MC world while still letting the emotional moments land. It makes the push-and-pull between Ghost and Eliza feel even more immersive.

As the first book in a connected series, it clearly sets up a bigger storyline while still giving readers a satisfying chapter in Ghost and Eliza’s relationship. If you enjoy darker MC romances with protective antiheroes, emotional tension, and a story that leaves you wanting the next installment, this audiobook is a strong start to the Steelwood MC series.

Eliza's Ghost

Ghost has been watching Eliza for months once he found out her existence, he has been keeping tabs on her father. When he hears the plans her father has for her he reaches out to Diesel to abduct her, to save her from her fate. That is only part of the truth, Ghost has become obsessed with her.

Eliza tries to fight when she is taken but when they bring her to Ghost, she knows she should feel scared but there is something about him that makes her think she is safe.

The narration is done by a single person, not my preferred method

Excellent MC instant love romance

Her father is offering her to a very bad man and the MC tech wiziard who has been watching her thru cameras cannot let that happen. His MC buddies take her and bring her to his MC quarters where he keeps her safe. Lots more going on in this story, crimes, streamy chemistry, secrets, and so much more. The narration was good, easy to listen to and get lost in for an afternoon.
