Practiacl manual for tactical dad (or mom)

Since I have a long commute, I listen to audiobooks, and when I friend gave me this one, I was skeptical that it would not be as practical as I was looking for. I was wrong about this. It is a perfect guide for someone who wants to learn how to use hand-held radios while camping or traveling with friends, but doesn't necessarily want to become a ham operator (sad ham? Brilliant!) I've used radios before at work, but I never new the basics of how to set them up right out of the box for optimal use. Now, I have everything I need to move forward. I even decided to order the print book because this will be really handy to keep with my camping gear.

I got this audiobook to learn about GMRS incase of emergencies for my family. Wow, this audiobook is filled with so much great stuff. I was so naive in thinking this was just a radio, but it’s so much more. Great book!
