Resumen del Editor

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Albert Einstein's warning ricochets inside Robert Goodfellow's thoughts as he races to stop the cyber and robotic murders of American and Russian leaders propelling the United States and Russia into war. Part-time cyber-warrior and conflict-avoiding cerebral soldier, Robert has been ordered to locate and protect Pion, the autistic, cyber-savant US officials believe is their best, and maybe only, chance to prevent catastrophe. Reluctantly joining him in his quest is Mugavus Komfort, a female partner from his past. From the highly advanced, newly independent State of SPEA to the ancient African nation of Ethiopia, Robert and Mugavus battle their way through a near-future, dystopian world ravaged by the endless fire of climate change, chaos and conflict. US and Russian assassins, predator robots, terrorists, and rebels surround and imperil Robert and Mugavus as they struggle to save the world from itself. It's a race against time. In the end will they be too late?

Exciting

Where does Future Furies rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really thought the premise of ENDLESS FIRE was well thought out and had a basis in fact of what could happen in our fragile world. The characters in the story were real and well played.

What other book might you compare Future Furies to and why?

This was really unlike any other story I have read or listened to.

What does Angelo Di Loreto bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like reading a book but with audio book can be experienced while you are driving or be involved with other tasks while listening to the story. I liked Angelo Di Loreto's inflection and voice in the reading of the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The thirsty world? Not sure of that.

Any additional comments?

I really loved the book and felt the author had a great story line and all aspects were well constructed and written.

The first fury

Great book. A well written story of a group of people thrust together by a variety of circumstances, winding their way through twists and turns trying to save a friend, and ultimately-possibly the world. It taps into the future problems the world may face and tugs at the economic morality of the reader. The set up is a little tough to get through as the author presents the acronyms and ideas that he would like to explore, but is a fast read once that has been completed. The US of A isn't exactly a shining star in this story and it's character was set up to make you want to scream, but the events and predictions of this book are interesting and unique. Intelligent read. Totally recommend.
