Written with sincere compassion for America
Although this work written from many years as both a observer of people from the vantage point of a Pullman Porter in the early 1900’s and a black man in search of addressing the injustices this country has inflicted on black people. Great book but...
As a Moorish American the negro or black is still used to represent us even after this book intelligently disputes any individuals being addressed as a color. Why do we need to go back to Africa when we never left at one time all continents were connected. The Louisiana Purchase came after the European so called discovered a new world. So the land had a name and occupants prior to any of these events.
