Couldn’t turn it off!

Bill Browder tells the story that includes everything in Red Notice and the aftermath. I commend him on his dedication to put a stop to Russia’s money laundering and to avenge the death of his colleague, Serge. All efforts to silence him were thwarted one way or another. Being a Dad & a husband did not deter him even though his life was on the line. This book is riveting and more than I could have imagined! Cheers to Senator Grassley & The Daily Show for giving Bill the exposure he needed. Great read and now I’m faced with the challenge of finding anything as interesting as this!

Good narrator

The narrator was good and was enjoyable to listen too. The story was interesting even if the author is a little self absorbed at times. “Why doesn’t everyone see exactly it my way and why doesn’t everyone drop what they are doing to help me immediately without question!” became the arch of nearly every chapter. He’s obviously very well off, the countless ski vacations, expensive restaurants, private schools and having access to an endless stream of powerful and well connected people left me out of touch sometimes. But I can’t imagine the bravery it takes to do what he did and continues to do.

Thriller, Mystery,Spy, Detective,Political, Intrigue

A genuinely engaging rendition of a heartbreaking saga. Reveals the true nature of Putin and the shameless U S politicians and others who consort with him leaving a trail of death and injury in their wake. And sadly, it’s all true.

Another great one

I read his first book and opted for the audible this time amazing performance! Great voice acting.

Inspiring story

Putin was a neurotic, mediocre functionary who has become a vicious dictator dependent on his childhood friends and thugs to help him cheat and rob his fellow Russians so that he can amass a fortune that he believes will secure his power. In this book we see the how. Bill Browder has laid out this mystery with exciting detail that reads like a great spy novel. But it isn't. It's true and it's frightening. Men like Putin are generally cowards who are very vindictive when thwarted. Kudos to Mr. Browder and his friends and colleagues for courageously standing up to this dangerous bully.

A must listen

One of the best books I have ever listened to. It reads like a fantastical intrigue novel but this story is actually real. I had to keep reminding myself of this. I’m in awe of Bill Browder and deeply grateful for his unwavering desire for justice.

Excellent Follow-up to Red Notice

It is so important that Bill Browder chronicled this true story, pulling back the curtain of Russian chicanery, lawbreaking, money laundering and murder that has gone on unchecked for so long around the world. This book describes in great detail Mr. Browder’s 10 year dedication to proving the corrupt methods and extreme measures Putin used to steel over $200 billion from the Russian people. It is totally consistent with what he is now doing in Ukraine. Freezing Order reads like the best spy novel, however, what is both disturbing and satisfying is that it’s a true story.

More people should read this book, provides amazing context to the last few years and US Russian relations.
