Great Prequel to “For the Love of Whiskey"!

This prequel is from Sully’s POV. You find out a little bit about how she got brought into the cult and about how Rebel Joe owned her from when she was young. She is now ready for what she believes will be her final attempted escape. She has been planning it for awhile and is ready to get out of that place!! No spoilers here! I can’t wait to listen to “For the Love of Whiskey”! Narration was great by Meg Sylvan.

She’s short but I felt like the story of her escape needed to be told.

This prequel to book 3 has whetted my imagination and I can't wait to see where it leads. Melissa Foster and ALL her Whiskey's are the reason she's at the top of my favorite author list

Perfect prequel

Audiobook Review: Freeing Sully is super short but a great prequel to For the Love of Whiskey. Sully has escaped a cult and Cowboy is protecting her on Redemption Ranch. This is the story of Sully. The story of her life in the cult, her escape, her hopes and dreams, and her future. I highly recommend listening/reading it before you start For the Love of Whiskey.

The narrator, Meg Sylvan, is perfect for Sully. She keeps Sully naïve but aware of how living in a cult is not the normal way of life. Sully’s spirit, her will to get out of the cult life, and her willingness to put herself out of her comfort zone to find a “normal” life had me riveted to the story.

Quick read to carry on Whiskey tale.

I don't know why, but I always want these little prequels to be a prologue. It is very cumbersome to go through the whole download process for 35 minutes. That said, the suspense written into this particular prequel was good. I appreciated the descriptions and the continuation of the previous story. Overall, as always, good writing.

Great Prequel!

This is the second book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch Series. This is a great introduction to the novel For the Love of Whiskey. Meg Sylvan did a great job bringing this short novella to life. She has a beautiful voice. Looking forward to listening to For the Love of Whiskey, the next book in the series.

Prequel?

I agree it is but why have it be separated from the next book? Having to pay for both is unfair. I’m sure her story is in the next book anyway. I guess I’ll see.

Determination and grit!

Freeing Sully is a short prequel to “For the Love of Whiskey” by Melissa Foster. Sully takes us through her journey to get away from Rebel Joe and The Free Rebellion. Meg Sylvan does a great job of bringing Sully to life in my ears. By using tone, inflection of the words, and pure emotion Meg has my heart racing feeling the suspense of how Sully gets herself to safety. 5 stars*****

Exactly what I want from a prequel

Freeing Sully is a short prequel to Redemption Ranch and it’s exactly what you want from a read that gives you just enough but leaves you wanting more.
Meg Sylvan does a great job bringing Sully to life and she left me very excited for what’s to come in the next Whiskey book.
Sully was raised in a cult and she bears the scars to from her attempts to escape so could will this time be any different and will her saviour be a older truck driver………

GOOD BACKGROUND SNIPPET!

This was a good prequel to Sully' story! It's nice to have that additional information. The narration was good and will keep you entertained! The author did a good job with the background information! I look forward to reading For the Love of Whiskey! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
