Interesting

It is a rather interesting listed. I admit that it could be difficult for the non technical person to follow. Some of material is fully supported other elements less so. Some is pure speculation. On the other hand there are some interesting tidbits into as well.

The Sun!

All the different planetary things we experience. The different weather patterns. The volcanic activity. The tectonic plate shifting activity. All of those things, all determined by the Sun.

I was looking forward to listening to this book but when I began I realized the narrator’s voice grated on me and I stopped listening. Nearly every word ended strangely. I gave it another chance, and although i don’t care for the narration i overcome my reluctance. The book is fascinating, and not a subject i’m familiar with, Despite being over my head, the author made his explanations understandable to me. Appreciated the style and concepts.

The book is very technical and places, but the author takes the time to say it in plain language.

Good analysis of the data

Good analysis of the geological data. it may or may not be fully accurate, but it matches the data better than the mainstream analysis. They say science advances one funeral at a time. Maybe when the old guard passes, Schoch's hypothesis will get the research it deserves.

Well researched and annotated. Presents a compelling narrative for a case that suggests civilization has a rich history that is almost missing and points the way to areas that may provide more supporting evidence. Its a great listen and a great read.

Excellent book full of interesting ideas!

Dr. Schoch and his wife Catherine are some of the most original thinkers out there. Hopefully, we all get a chance to find out what the contents of the underground chamber, which is supposed to be located in front of the Sphinx, are. What would make this audiobook even better, is if it was read by the author.

Easy listen, oodles of information

I liked this book so much that once it was finished I started it back over. Dr. Schoch writes in a manner that makes the information simple to take in a digest. His attention to detail and never diverting into tangents are refreshing. He is a true professional and it shows in this work and his others. Thank you.

Great explanation of solar cycles resulting in climatic change and extinction events. We may be overdue.

A wonderfully interesting theory of the past, but it's quite intensely technical for listening alone.
