Heartbroken high school sweethearts

Seeing your ex is always hard, we’ve all been in that position where we wanted to flee on sight. McKenzie takes it to an extreme, of course, by leaving town. Without spoilers, I love, love, loved the moments with Jackson, and felt like the story could have used more “show don’t tell” with McKenzie’s ex, Ryan, rather than just stating how she felt in her internal monologue. Overall, this book reads more as a YA romance even though it would technically be classified as New Adult due to the character ages.

Highly recommend, finished in less than two days! If you love a good romcom, this is the book for you. Looking forward to the next book!

Such a good read!

This book took me away. It was so captivating! That character building was phenomenal, I feel like we are friends! This is truly a read if your looking to be taken away, truly entrenched in a love story. A story a lot of us can relate too! I love all her books, this one def takes the cake! I can’t wait for her next book to come out!
