Love this story!
Narrator:Mikael Naramore does one great job. Though I found the story stretch out I still loved it and will listen to it again.

Truly an awesome story

I found this book to be a Hidden jewel !!! I have read and listened to all Of Ms Garwood‘s books and found them just wonderful, but I never got into the story of the Roses a few weeks ago I picked one up and got hooked on the Claiborne family if you have not read or listened to these books you are truly missing an awesome Family thank you so much Miss Garwood for once again providing a wonderful experience.

I have read this story many times and each time find something new to appreciate. The ideals presented (words of the day, speaking different languages and trying to understand other. People and what they represent) are inspiring. The love between family is strong and thankfully flexible. The love Harrison and Rose have is one that will endure knowing it will see clouds and storms along with sunny skies.

Family isn’t always about blood, but is about love and loyalty. Four young boys joined together for survival and the baby girl they rescue turn them into a strong family unit. This is the first of a series by Julie Garwood. I very much enjoy her writing and ability to tell a story.

nice story...oldie but goodie

A sweet western romance that is just a tad spicy. Also a great exploration of current societal norms.

Great Read

The storyline was great. Enjoyed the flashbacks and development of characters. Looking forward to reading the sequels.

This story is a wonderful portrait of positive ethnic diversity and racial equality for all.
