Fantastic book and narrators!

Cate Corvin is a new author to me and now I cant wait to devour the rest of her books. These is so much action in this book. Melisand has to deal with betrayal and fighting for her life in Hell. She is such a strong character she takes everything as it comes and kicks ass. I fell in love with Cassius immediately. I love how they call each other friend when addressing each other. The book has a lot of steamy scenes. The ending broke my heart a now now ned to start the next audible soni know what happens. As always Sarah Puckett is a fantastic narrator. I love the emotions she puts in to the characters voices. Alexander Cendese did a great job with the male's voices. I really enjoyed this audible and listening to these narrators.

Love this series

I am new to this author and find that I love this whole series. It has a strong female lead, lots of action, humor that was great, it was just an all together great story! I can’t wait for more of her books to be turned into audiobooks!!!

Great story, VA took me out of it a bit

VA for Melisande is amazing, but I struggled a bit with the VA for the men. He gave the guy described several times to have a booming deep voice the highest pitched voice and his feminine voices were a bit off. Still going to get the rest of them in the series, but hope the character voices improve as the series goes on!

For the love of sin this book was HOT!!!

In my personal opinion this book was amazing. The story was smooth and flow easily, Mellasan growth through the book was very believable and she had you rooting for her the entire time.
The performers did there part justice and I am extremely excited to read the next two in the series. 😊❤️💕

Meh

I bought the whole series during the summer sale. The story is slow to develop, I’m hoping the later books have more to offer. I found performances AWFUL. The woman’s voice was sort of valley girl trying to be a fallen Angel, as well as grating. The main male character (don’t know how to spell his name- the B devil) sounds pretentious and like a dude you’d want to smack for being so douchey! The other male characters are less revolting - like the performer toned it down. I will listen to the other books because the overall experience wasn’t awful and, I already bought them.

Enjoyable YA, light spice

It kept me engaged, which I haven’t felt for the last many books. The relationships weren’t instantaneous, but developed in an interesting matter. Its score is for its category.

Good narration. More than adequate, not excellent. Again, enjoyable.

Surprisingly good, with one caveat

I really enjoyed this book. Story was great, loved the characters, and the female narrator was an A+. But the male narration was so over-acted and his spreading style was so cringey, especially at the beginning of chapters before he relaxes and talk like a normal person

interesting world creation and the romantic interests aren't formulaic.

only real issue was with the male narrator's version of a female voice.
