predictable and lazy writing

characters were not lovable. plot was predictable. writing was lazy. sending a text to the wrong person was used as plot, I just find that a weak plot driver. overall not the worst, but not memorable.

Read this for book club and thought it was a charming story. Fun and sexy with great narration.

Really enjoyed the writing, the story was fun and kept me interested! The narration sounded a little to seductive for my liking with the main character but still good! I’ll definitely be reading more from this author!

Mela is so deeply compelling as a narrator, and brings this fun enemies to lovers romance to life!

Story good, narrator not

This was a fun, predictable romance with good characters. The narrator's breathiness and slow speech drove me crazy but I wanted to listen to the story. I could stand her at 1.2 X speed.

Cute will they won’t they story

I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting and had very very spicy scenes that are very much appreciated and overall the story was cute.

Narration was good. Story was beyond awful.

The author is more concerned about inclusivity and political correctness, rather than character development. I will not be reading the second book.
