Leo loves exploring this wacky building, until the hotel's owner disappears. Once he's gone, the place begins to fall apart, and it's up to Leo to find what happened to Mr. Whippet and save his beloved home. Patrick Carman's novel is worthy of Roald Dahl, and Jesse Bernstein captures all the wit and whimsy with his playful and curious tone, inspiring a wide-eyed sense of joy and wonder.
