good but...
I would have a hard time reading this as someone who was currently in a leadership roll or position of authority. I would recommend this book for new firefighters looking to gain experience and advice on how to perform as they move up the ranks.

Excellent Advise
This book is chock full of excellent advise for firefighters looking to make the next step into becoming and officer and for existing officers. The book really drives home that an officers job is not always black and white and provides excellent guidance on navigating leadership through a deep understanding of how subordinates need to be led.

Great book
Great book on leadership within the fire service. Highly recommend this book to any and all fire officers. I also recommend to read/listen to the book from time to time for advise.
