One of my favorite series and I couldn’t believe it got a audiobook! It’s so next level out of this world fun and you really care for all the characters even the misunderstood ones ... it makes you think who is really your friend or lover because of you being you and not because of everything that is going on... Huge fan of Daniel and Rebecca for making this come to life and remember

Way better then I expected!

Well, this was way better then I expected, I was looking for some mindless shlock to keep me occupied while I’m quarantined with Covid, but I have to say, the story is engaging, and many of the characters are relatable. The performance is not the best I’ve heard on audible, but it’s far from the worst. I would definitely recommend this to fans of story’s where normal people get forced to survive in a fantasy/RPG type setting and or like harem story’s.

Burke has created one of the best

In the genre of cultivation harem fantasy books. MC is engaging and likable. plot is imaginative and well thought out. World building is solid. The motivation for all characters is believable and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series but because his name is not Sanderson I can't give it 5 stars... But a solid 4 and a 1/2 makes it a not to be missed series!

Great read

I really enjoyed the book. Action, romance, it has it all. This is must read series.

My favorite series in the genre so far!

So I come from reading science fiction and fantasy. I am a hopeless romantic who enjoys when the guy gets the girl. That's how I ended up finding out about this erotica genre in the first place. The guy always gets the girl. And boy, do they.

While the story isn't a unique concept, the way it is written and portrayed was extremely enjoyable for me. Jay's female counterparts were all unique and interesting, and Mrs. Woods portrayal of each of them was beyond fantastic. She deserves an award just for being able to voice so many different women and doing it so damned well. It was this series that made me a diehard Rebecca Woods fan, and more than once I have simply bought a title based on her being the voice actress. Daniel is no slouch either and their team up is always a well acted endeavor.

This is very LitRPG with stats and more stats, but i didn't find it all that bothersome. But on top of the stats, you also get sexy fun times, and that just makes this all the better.

This is book one of the series and it introduces the basis of the story and David Burke really does a decent job of putting the story together. I enjoyed the way he did the LitRPG parts and never found it boring or repetitive. I really enjoyed Jay's character as he was written and I felt like he was a good guy and a decent Main Character, someone you could respect and not roll your eyes with half of the things he does. So kudos to you Mr. Burke.

Ten hours was a bit short for my investment, and I originally only tried it because of the VA's, but I have bought more books in the series, so I obviously thought it was good enough for further investment. One of the better MC's to be written in the genre, and a well written adventure.

From the moment I started this book it was a mindf**k. Ignore the summary displayed. pay attention to this, Ready?

What would you do if you were pulled from your life, given, strange superpowers told you were being drugged and that if you wanted to survive you had to grow stronger? Well this book goes into a very detailed version of this for a man named Jay. Watch as Jay struggles to be a good man while under the affects of mind altering drugs and constantly treated like a villain or piece of meat to be used by those around him as they see fit. How will this go?

Better than I expected

I went into this expecting the usual OP MC with harem which j got however I feel like the characters are not 1 dimensional. the MC makes mistakes and learn from them. he needs to rely on his women to survive. I appreciated that the main women were pulling their own weight by the end of the book.

great narration as usual from this pair.

Better than most for genre

I hope second is as good as the first. stats and level progression makes sense and doesn't get in the way of the story

WOW! okay first i 100% recommend this book. I didn't think i would like it as much as i did. i especially liked how the girls don't straight up like/ love the mc and that he even didn't want to love them but damn that last part of the last chapter i knew i didn't like THAT girl also explains why the MC gets those dreams
