This is a message that has been burning on my heart; the message of First Love. This I am believing is not only a message but a strong principle that most have not totally grasped including myself. Naturally in breaking this down to bring understanding we look at the two key words in this: First and Love.
First means foremost, most excellent, highest, and the best. The first of anything is participating in and experiencing the best.
Love would be the second key word in this. Some of us may even believe that we have a total understanding of what love is and what love does. Most of us do love our spouses, family, and friends. I think most of the time the word love is pretty loose and very emotional for the most part. I am 58 years old and still trying to grasp and embrace the whole concept of the word love. I remember at a young age I was searching deeply for love and think I still am. I believe love as a concept is a never ending search and journey. Maybe it is a process, and a growth experience to completely grasp love. I do believe there is emotion involved but to boil something as deep as love to an emotion is trivializing what true love is. I know most of us look at love as something within or about ourselves, but believe true love is more about others than yourself. I am a spiritual person and am also in search of the deeper spiritual meaning and conquest. I am looking at a deeper revelation of the word love and the deeper understanding of love. Agape Love is the spiritual and deeper meaning of love. It is an unconditional love that not only loves our family and friends but also our enemies. It is love without measure and love that is not based on conditions. Our conditions are we love those who love us, but that is not love.
