Richie and Cameron

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. Richie and Cameron have a long history as best friends. The journey from straight to gay is confusing and scary. But people like Granny, Sammy, and seven overprotective brothers help smooth the road. I thought they made a great couple even though it took them awhile to figure it out. Another great job by Guillaume Dubois narrating.

I loved this one the same mount if not more than book 3 and way more than book 2. Richie and Cam are such a great couple and it was kinda amusing how they were in the beginning, totally oblivious to their feelings. The whole time I was thinking friends don't do that. You adorable, clueless sexy men how can u not know. Just kiss already and then I got my wish. 😍 I loved the Grandma too. She was great. This was a very sweet and fun read that I would definitely recommend. There's 2 of the other guys in the house that I found really interesting so I can't wait to read the other books in the series and I am curios if any of them get set up with Leo who seemed like a sweet guy. I love that the epilogue is a preview of the next book and I'm looking forward to reading it.

Narrator 3.5 stars

The narrators voice was ok. Not the best but not the worst. He kept a good pace and expressed the emotions in most circumstances. The steamy scenes were kinda flat though. He did some voices for the extra characters but the MCs seemed the same to me. Still an enjoyable listen though.

Vanguard Towers MM romance book 4

Fire and Ice is the fourth book in the series and tells the story of Richie and Cam, both firefighters. You don’t have to listen to the previous books, but the characters does make an appearance. It is a very sweet gay romance full of tension as the story develops. The characters are interesting and the development over the course of the story is very good. The addition of baby Sammy adds some cute to the story. Great narration and different voices used during the story. Overall an excellent book to listen to and can't wait to listen to additional books in the series.

Easy Listen; Funny Granny

This was a cute friends to lovers story that included one sassy granny. Book 4 in a series but I listened to this first and could consider it a standalone.

Cam is just utterly clueless that his best friend Richie is in love with him. They’ve been essentially joined at the hip for 8 years, both working as partners on their firehouse squad and then outside of work, sleeping at one another’s house, etc. Cam wants what he presumed is a “normal” relationship , including a wife, Boise with a white picket fence and kids. What he doesn’t realize is that nobody is good enough for him and his granny points out that Richie is the best mate for him. Richie is tired of waiting for Cam and tries to move on—and then Cam gets jealous and wants to be with him. Except he doesn’t. Not really. But maybe?

Lots of will they, won’t they in this book combined with some steamy scenes made for an easy listen. Narrator was new to me and was ok. My only issue was that he read every scene in the same tone, even the sec scenes. They came across as just him reading a book. Very little emotion added. Overall, this was a good book and I’d recommend. The author was new to me and I’ll definitely read or listen to their books again.

Can't wait for the next

Another great narration from Guillaume Dubois. Richie and Cam are a friends-to-lovers plot full of twist and turns. I loved hearing all the voices to my favorite characters and and I can't wait to hear what happens next.

good listen

This was a great addition to the series. I have really enjoyed this series and the charters that we are getting to know and falling in love with. Guillaume did a great job with this book. I felt a connection with the charters which is always great to have and feel during a book. It makes me love the book that much more when i feel connected to them.

Great story

Cam and Richie are best friends. Richie has been in love with his straight forever but when Cam sees him on a date, he gets jealous. This was sooo good. Guillaume Dubois does a great job with the narration

Friends to lovers

This was a sweet opposites attract, friends to lovers romance.

I absolutely loved this MM romance with heart.
It was a wholesome listen with likeable characters and low angst.

The narrator did a great job on the audio delivery and narration

Richie and Cameron

Best friends for 8 yrs Richie has been lusting over straight Cameron, only Cameron is now jealous of Richie and his date. He storms over angry and forcefully kisses him, and things heat up between the Firefighters. Dual POV was narrated brilliantly.

Another great book!

Aiden Bates is a great author. This book is another feel good book with life lessons!
