FIRST IN A NEW SERIES!

Meg Hawke’s antique store is faltering. When her octogenarian neighbor Hank asks her to clean out his shed and sell antiques on consignment, she has a real chance at discovering forgotten treasure. If she steps foot on the Montana ranch, however, she’ll come face-to-face with her childhood frenemy and Hank’s grandson, Ryan.

After selling off the ranch’s cattle years before, Ryan Kincaid dove into the world of high-end tourism, devoting everything to the business. For his sanity, he avoids his annoying known-her-since-childhood neighbor, Meg. With the forced proximity of the shed project happening in his backyard, though, he’s singing a different tune. Perhaps he’d been wrong about her.

A surprise discovery spurs both change and challenge, and they’re forced to choose the potential of ever-after or forget each other and finally move on forever.

Tropes: old enemies, rivals, love/hate, last to know, forced proximity, matchmaker, cowboy, small town

Finders Keepers, Cowboy is the first time I have read a book by Rachelle Paige Campbell. This cute small-town western romance was the perfect book with Hallmark vibes. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I had the privilege of listening to the audiobook narration. Lisa Lynn Sandlin nailed this book so perfectly. If you have not listened to any of her narrations, you are truly missing out. She does not just read the story; she truly brings the characters to life.

The setting was perfect. I loved this small Montana town ranching town with some history to it. The storyline was great and had a lot of fun elements: matchmaking, antique store, clean out to treasure, tourist attraction, reviving the town, cute, adopted dog, and cute neighbor cowboy.

The character development was great. Ryan is trying to save the town and his family’s ranch. Though he seems to be unable to get along with his neighbor. Meg is trying to save her antique store and find her place of belonging in this world.

This enemies-to-lovers, slow-burn romance was kisses only, which was perfect and sweet.

*I received a complimentary copy from the narrator and voluntarily chose to review it. All opinions are my own.

Meg Hawkes is the owner of the small town antique shop but lives out next to the Kincaid Ranch. Ryan Kincaid & Meg have known each other throughout their childhood, as she visited her grandparents' ranch next door. Hank, Ryan's grandfather, and a dear family friend of the Hawkes family, is a sweet but rascally older cowboy.

Hank is the reason that Meg & Ryan keep running into each other. Is he doing it on purpose or not? Hank needs help with cleaning out his shed, that is filled with all the stuff that Hank could get in it! Meg offers help & also hopes to find a few good finds for her store. With Hank & Meg working together and causing Ryan's last week before the visitor season for his business of vacations on the ranch start up to go from quiet to busy. Ryan in a way reminds me of the person who likes things to stay the way he planned. But nothing is going to go the way any of them planned! This book was so well written & a truly enjoyable story. I have a new author on my list of authors to read!

I listened to the audiobook. I loved the way Lisa Lynn Sandlin gives each person a different voice, even just with a slight difference in inflection. Her voice was so perfect for this story! I laughed at the funny, held onto the steering wheel during the serious parts, & just rode along with the story of Meg Hawkes, Ryan and Hank Kincaid in the first of three stories in the Match Made in Montana series by Rachelle Paige Campbell. I'm going to have to get the next book(audiobook) to see what happens next!

This is my own opinion and I would highly recommend you check out Finders Keepers, Cowboy for yourself!

Audio Review:
This is book 1 in the Match Made in Montana series.

🕮 Meg runs a sinking antique store, she’s struggling and thoughts of quitting keep pushing into her mind. Her older neighbor Hank reaches out to her and asks for her to help clean out his shed and sell any of the antiques on consignment. This all sounds great, but to step onto the ranch she may come face-to-face with Hank’s grandson, Ryan. Ryan is Meg’s childhood frenemy.
Ryan had sold off the ranches' cattle years ago, instead creating a high-end tourism spot. He has always found Meg to be annoying while they were kids and growing up. But now that she is working on cleaning up the shed they can’t help coming face to face with each other again and again.

This was a lighthearted, enjoyable little love story. I like Meg, she is a strong MFC, we watch her struggle to keep her dream of running an antique store alive.
Ryan is annoying at times to me, but I do eventually grow to like him. I feel like the connection between the two MC’s flows well and isn’t overly fast. This story is a light hearted chick-lit type story that is a big change from my normal fast paced, high steaks reads. I’ll definitely be jumping into book 2 soon.

🎙️The Narration by Lisa Lynn as always was perfection. She has a way of giving each book and each character their own voice and feel, without sounding fake. Her narration kept me engaged and was enjoyable to listen to.
