Great gateway into personal finance!

This book is definitely a great way to start understanding and moving forward with gaining wealth or even just knowing how to get out of paycheck to paycheck. There are great easy steps to take to start taking hold of you finances. I am not saavy on finance and I really felt like I walked away with great way to get into the game.

Legacy changes

I appreciate this recommendation from my friend Jen. Chase has a way of breaking down some of the financial jargon in a way that is easily understood. I especially appreciated the chapter on life insurance. I’ve started looking into options for myself/husband, as well as our small children since this would benefit them in the future regarding increases in the cost due to age. I do not have credit card debt, but I have in the past, this book is so helpful for someone struggling with what they should do to pay off and how to rebuild credit. Would love to hear more from Chase about investing/stocks etc, as I’m interested, but again… overwhelmed by all the info out there.

Great Financial principles for everyday

This book is great! It has many useful tools to helping you reach the financial goals you have. I really appreciated that these are not "extreme" financial principles that would be difficult for the average reader. These are tried and true methods that everyone is able to take advantage of without any crazy steps. Reading this book is a great way to take back control of your finances to not only plan for the future but maximize the value today. Lastly as this book is written by your everyday corporate employee its an easy listen and applicable to so many people! Give this book a listen and take control of your finances today!

Golden nuggets in a short and easy read

I grew up with a career track very similar to the author's - I got my bachelors in finance, worked at a well-known financial firm, and I've read/watched/listened to many financial speakers and authors over the years. I wanted to leave a positive review here because

1) the narrator crushes it
2) I really enjoyed the short and to-the-point format of this book
3) AND I also learned several things that I didn't already know from other research I have done and my personal experiences in college and my finance job

To anyone looking for a short manual on how to improve your finances that is immediately actionable and short enough to read over and over again - look no further!

Very helpful book for all ages

This book methodically covers pretty much all topics related to financial planning, and is helpful regardless of where you stand on the road to financial freedom. I feel I'm almost there and I still picked up a few tips on how to improve my plan.
