Apparently, I'm only half the witch I thought I was. Literally. I'd spent my entire life thinking my father was a witch like my mother. I should have known better. It's driving me insane. Insane to the point of becoming a jealous, sarcastic, obnoxious pain in the ass. Okay, maybe that's just normal me, but the secrets aren't helping any, either.
But now I have goals, and goals are good. Find my elf and find my father. A witch has to start somewhere, and maybe if I find them, I'll find me.

Jacquelyn Faye delivers another panty melting tale
Jacquelyn Faye and Melissa Schwairy are an audiobook dream team! Melissa never fails to bring for the smoldering comedic feel of a Jacquelyn Faye book! Fifth Essence is filled with action, adventure, comedy, and lots... I MEAN LOTS of sexy goodness! I recommend you grab a glass of wine (hopefully the good stuff that Shay has in his wine cellar), a set of earbuds and sit back, relax, and enjoy a good heated laugh!

Cliffhanger.
I liked the story. This installment could have ended without a cliffhanger. In fact, the cliffhanger is petty in the grand scheme of things. It had nothing to do with Dots dad and the ultimate mystery of her existence and greatness. Too bad.

Oh I'm lovin the Coven alright
I LOVE this series! all books in this series are fantastic, but I really enjoyed the back and forth banter between characters in this book. Both author and narrator did a wonderful job of portraying and building each character. Lots of plot twists and insights to keep you on your toes!
