Gloria Heath loves her job as a lifestyle journalist. She also loves the perks - free meals, complimentary spa treatments, behind-the-scenes access, and more. Sports are definitely not her thing, and her brief is to find a rider with an interesting backstory and write about their journey. When she experiences the atmosphere and the racing, however, she starts to see the attraction. Soon after, she finds the perfect case study for her article. Rafe Donovan is fearless, ambitious, and the underdog of the tournament. He’s also drop-dead gorgeous. She eagerly sets out to interview him, but soon discovers the bad boy biker is a tough nut to crack.

The more she asks questions, the more he shuts down. Throw some chemistry into the mix and things go from bad to worse. Can she get the material she needs, or is her first foray into sports writing doomed to fail?

Short and sweet change of scenery.

Gloria is a lifestyle journalist and used to the good life while on assignments. Imagine her surprise when she's given an assignment to cover a motorcycle racing tournament. she decides to make the article a bit of a human interest story at the same time. Rafe is kinda a lone wolf racer. No sponsors, just his brothers and him. Rafe looks like a bad boy player, but Gloria learns he is anything but that. Will she be able to win his brothers over? Will her article be good enough without betraying Rafe? Will Gloria ever see him again after the article comes out? You will just have to get the book to find out.

Wowee, Fast Lust is right! Great story, and smokin’ hot sex scenes. I loved it!

Fun, fast, A bit sexy short story. A bad boy bike racer and a reporter.

The Race is On!

This was a nice quick listen with some heat. I really enjoyed the characters. The ending left it kinda open to how things actually turned out but you can imagine which is a fun way also.

Would read full version of this book.

I judge these short little stories by deciding if I'd like to see them as full novels. This is one I'd definitely read. Great characters. Fun banter. Expandable plot. Motorbike racing. Fantasy fulfilled. Very enjoyable.
I listened to Audible version and narrator was easy to listen to. She did an excellent job.

entertaining

Good pace, likeable characters and an entertaining story as Gloria attempts to learn something she knows nothing about.

I enjoyed R Bond's narration, her voice suits Gloria, and she has good inflections and intonations that work to bring the characters to life. I would have liked a stronger difference in Rafe's voice, but that's only a minor critique and there was enough change of tone in his voice to be able to tell it was his dialogue.

Would I listen to it again? yes

Hot and fast with perfect narration

This story is about a motorcycle racing guy's fantasy to sex over his bike, and the build up is great. The narrator is spot on. I loved the story of the miss-matched pair having a one night stand that has potential. It is a great story and a great "listen" to boot. Thanks Lucy and R Bond!

Feel good

This is a fast paced, feel good story with some hot scenes. I really enjoyed it! I also liked the narration.
