A good sequal
In part two of this trilogy our protagonist comes into her own. And all the baking metaphors really stir my sweet tooth. If you didn't read the first novel in the series this book could be very confusing so I recommend you start at the beginning and work your way through in series order.

Great Series
Different but still very good. This book picks up were 1 left off. The main character continues her new Romance with the bad boy vampire boss while also advocating for the rights of supernaturals in her city. It's an uphill battle but she finally starts to get the rights she deserves as a person.
