Five fantastic stars!

Loved loved this book. The characters are relatable. The narrator is excellent and does multiple voices well. I can't wait to read the next book!!!!!!!

Second book as good as the first

I blew through the first two books in the series in one weekend, can't wait for the rest of the series! You won't go wrong with this one.

Story

Overall I love the story. Strong female lead that’s not vapid or weak. The family drama issues are getting resolved. I love listening to the main character grow. This slow slow burn romance is also nice in comparison to what I’ve been reading lately. I like to mix it up. Honestly though what made me pick the audible version over written is the narrators voice. This narrators voice is stunning. This husky voice is also perfect for this character in particular. I can imagine a few other books I’ve listened to that would benefit from this narrator. Overall can’t wait to continue the series.

this is my fifth time reading through the series so far it's always amusing to listen to I can't wait for the 9th book

I'm hooked

I love the family's and how they are mending and coming along. Now I m on book 3

Such a fun read

Was in a reading slump, and took an anxiety chance on this to break the slump and and I am so happy I did. Strong female lead, family drama that I relate to, murder and mystery, and a woman who will go to any lengths to protect her loved ones. I’m all in!

I loved learning more about her family dynamic and that she's opening up to the Everson family.
