A Gem!

Elaine Marie doesn’t disappoint when it comes to a lovely romantic story. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are so talented, I love listening to their narration. They make me think I am standing right there watching the story unfold. I even shout out “NO” when I don’t want something to happen and “YES” when it goes the way I want it to go. LOL!

Sweet second chance romance

"Falling for the Past" was a beautifully-crafted second chance romance that was sweet and passionate, with a few plot twists and connections to other characters from a previous book. I truly enjoy this author’s writing style, as she magically fits so much background and detail into a novella-sized story. The duet narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel was the perfect fit for this wonderful tale. This duo always amazes me with their talent and how they are so spot on with capturing the personalities and emotions of the characters.

Second chance

Sweet second chance love. Mariana has loved Chaz since high school. Now 7 years later they meet by chance. Secrets come to light as they find their way back together. I was completely caught up in their story as the narrators did an amazing job with the narration

Great Story!

Very enjoyable with a few things I didn’t see coming. This author knows how to pull the emotions from me even in this short story. I was happy and sad as well as laughing at that little girl.

A first chance at a second chance love story.

Falling For The Past is a great listen with plenty of angst, excellent narration, guaranteed tears, a bit of heat and a hard won happy ending. While some might say the story is far fetched or implausible, I disagree. Decisions made while young oftentimes aren’t too bright. Add in a less than ideal home situation and non-supportive parents for both hero and heroine and this story is not only plausible, but entirely believable. It is also an excellent listen and cautionary tale. Very well done Ms. Elaine Marie. I look forward to enjoying more of your work.

Great story! Even better with these narrators!!!! I so loved the story and loved the addition of the little girl in the story as well.

Enjoyable

This was a quick, second chance at love story. The chemistry between Mariana and Chaz is off the charts and both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel portrayed this with a great deal of emotion and passion which really brought the story to life for me.

What happens when your past catches up with you? That’s the position that Mariana finds herself in when she comes face to face with her school crush Chaz? Having run once, she has no idea what to do, will he even remember her? Will she fall back into the past or will she manage to keep her secrets?

Riana is no longer the geeky bookworm she was in high school, she is confident and not afraid to say what needs to be said; whilst Chaz is totally swoon worthy. This is a sweet, romantic love story.

second chance

An emotional second chance thst I quickly got caught up in. I was disappointed in Chaz's family throughout the story. Dysfunctional!! I didn't like Mariana plsying gamed with Chaz to gauge his interest level. They were both too pld for childish gamrs like that when honest communication would have been best. smh- Mariana??? Good ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving my honest review . Not a fan of the female narrator. because she's too "breathy " and more suited to erotica narration. I encourage the male narrator.

perfect title for this book

Riana once crushed on the popular football player. Her wish came true to kiss him, but then he left to fulfill his dreams. Riana was left to pick up the pieces. When her present relationship falls apart, Riana knows she has to depend on herself. In walks Chaz and those feelings come rushing back. I really enjoyed their relationship. A rocky past, and now a second chance to get it right. Fate threw them together and this time I found myself hoping they would get it right. This was a sweet second chance story, that captured my heart. I could not put it down.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel really make this book shine. Their natural chemistry makes the chemistry between Chaz and Riana so much sweeter. I could feel the pull between these two characters through their narration. Tor and Charley brought this romance to life.
