Amazing story. A must read!

This book was excellent! I have been a listener of audiobooks since the mid 90s. To say that reading a book out loud is an art, is an understatement. Many audio books fail due to the lack of artistry of the reader. Or due to the limit of the tale inside the book. To be able to listen to a book so well written that was actually read by the person who lived it and wrote it was absolutely amazing. Samantha wrote a truly awesome book, and then produced a truly awesome audio book. If you know Samantha. If your a fan of linkin park, or If your just curious about how Chesters career got its start. This book is for you. I would hands down state that as far as audio books are concerned, this is one of the best produced and written audiobooks I have ever read/listened to. 10 out of 10 recommend. You need to hear the story. Loved it! AR

OMG OMG OMG

That’s all I can say was OMG I laughed, I cried, I was pissed off. So many emotions listening to this auditable. After just getting done with One Step Closer there was ALOT of emotion with this book. I’ve always been a huge fan of Samantha! One of the most beautiful, charismatic, intelligent, blunt and celestial spiritualistic women. I felt like I was right there listening to this book, the way Samantha wrote this book just kept you on the edge of your seat I finished this book in less than 3 days!!! Great job Sam you’re personal letters to each person was so emotional I think I cried at each and everyone. I felt like I knew each and everyone you talked about and FYI I don’t like those 2 tw**s!!! This is one of the best audibles ive experienced! The author Samantha reads her own story as if she is talking to you over tea! Her generation x story of born in the 70s, growing up in the 80s, and making her way in the world will inspire you, make you laugh, and bring tears to your eyes and chills to your body. We are invited into her family - as she shares meeting Chester Bennington and their journey together into the crazy world of fame. Samantha is a beautiful, illuminating author and soul who shares her bright light with us all!! This was the perfect book to kick off my summer after teaching through the pandemic. Samantha reminds us to love your people with all your heart, never give up, and shine our lights brightly wherever we go. I highly recommend this interesting and touching, moving authentic story! This will forever be one of my favorite books!!!!

Overcoming woman

Samantha is absolutely amazing the true definition of an overcomer! I love this book and could not stop!!
