Constantly Moving, No Slow Parts

This is a terrific series. Each book gets better & better. It has a well thought out story line with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. I love how you see each character either over come their fears, PTSD, panic attacks, or some other shortcoming or how they learn to live with these issues and not let the issues completely control their lives.

good series

I love this series. really enjoyed listening to all the books. this narrator was OK but I like the one that read the 1st 3 books a lil better.

K9s and their handlers

Ryder Creed and Grace are at it again. Girls are missing, body parts are turning up and they are on the trail of a killer. Wonderful series and narrator.

love Ryder!!! love how he sees the good in people, and just how special all dogs are. The story lines feel fresh and connected just enough for flow of story to build the characters but still have resolution at the end of each book. can't wait to read midnight creed and future Creed adventures.

Disjointed different stories within the story

Jumps from story to story without a descent transition! Ending long buildup with sudden stop!

Love the series BUT….

I devour these audiobooks because I love Ryder and Grace and all the usual gang….but these are not long books and I’d guess that starting with book 2 at least a 1/4 of EVERY SINGLE BOOK is nothing but repetitive backstory for every character who shows up in the current book. I understand not wanting new readers to be lost if they jump into a series and don’t bother to start at book 1 but I hate having so much time wasted on the same story over and over and over. It takes away from a story that could end up more fleshed out…and this one could have used some more time because it was more than a little disjointed and left a lot of questions unanswered.

WTH?? So frustrating

I wanted to leave an angry review by 25% of the book. This is usually a great series. I've enjoyed Kava's other books. Just kept waiting for it to get better. By the end...it was a waste of my day off.

Character behavior was so far off. These characters are educated, confident, strong-willed, and have faced awful obstacles in their lives. In this book, they are hand-wringing and wishy washy. Everything is woe is me. It was like the author was under a deadline and just wrote anything that came to mind. I'm insulted for all of us who purchased this book expecting a developing plot or normal character development. The normal Kava book...

SPOILER ALERT BEYOND***

Can you imagine Creed going unprepared into a blizzard after the hurricane situation? Can you imagine Maggie waiting days to go look for him? Not even an online property search done by her team to narrow it down? Can you imagine nobody knows that Grace wears a GPS except Jason, who just forgets- for days? These are just the beginning of the out of norm behaviors that are every page of this book. There was no actual story. I'm just stumped by how dumb it was.
