One of my Favs

This is one of my favorite books by this Author. However, I did not care for Nixon’s narrator. He didn’t give me the “Nixon” that I pictured. Even his accent, I love Sean Crisden narrations in other books, but he threw me off with Nixon’s character. Overall, this is still one of my favorite books. Nixon & Charlie will forever be my FAVS! I love CJ and her literature. ❤️😍

My FAVORITE Out Of The Series (So Far)

Nix and Charlie's story is my favorite out of the series so far. Although their love storybhad some "complicated moments", there was no long drawn out drama- no baby mommas, current side chics, and no secrets held longer than necessary. The story progressed appropriately in the alloted time and ended in a way that if they are not brought up in the next book in the series I feel like I got closure, but still an opening to keep up with them as the series progresses too. I also like that all of the crew from the first two books is still around, but not in a way that stole the show from these characters. I absolutely love how Ms. Jones is weaving all of her characters together like a fRamily. That makes it believable and relatable to me. As usual Wesleigh did her narrator thing and as usual Sean's narration irked me. Her male voice makes the male characters come alive in the way in which they have been described- young, hip, sexy...then Sean starts reading and it reminds me of my 75 year old uncle- UGH! It just doesn't go and it makes me cringe! I wish her and Jakobi Deim narrated every single book together- always. They are a match made in narration heaven.

it took a min but falling in love is hard to do but in the end when it all come together it can be beautiful. I just wish Charlie could have got out of her own way sooner

Great book

This book has been awesome and listened in one day. It keeps you interested. I love the changes in voices give a different aspect. I find myself smiling at different parts of the book. Great read !!!!

PLEASE KILL THE FRENCH ACCENT

These books are really good I enjoy listening but the French accent on the mom and daughter. Makes me want to pull out my HAIR! The Twin sisters sounds SO different! ughhhhh
I understand one lives in France but stop! But overall I Love the series.

I absolutely love this series

Okay so did this make anybody want to go back and read all of the others or maybe I didn’t listen in the correct order but either way I love it. Now I have to find the correct order and listen all over again.

This story was the perfect amount of everything, drama, romance, suspense, comedy, cameos, I just love it.

Nixon is my official New Book Bae. Lord have mercy 🥰😜💦 His scenes were very realistic. Great plot and ending.

Loving this series

This is my first ever review but I’ve read a majority of books by the phenomenal CCJ.
This is a Great Book to say the least! I love the thickness & Love of curves by Nixon for Ms. Charlie.
I do agree with another review that the voice for Nixon was a bit off putting at first, but I grew to like it.
I don’t want to give away spoilers…so I won’t but I’m sure that the research that CCJ does for the facts in her books, no matter how small are excellent.
The bits of psychology are well thought out and the characters are always AMAZING!
My favorite narrator- Wesleigh Siobhan has a beautiful, relatable voice and her delivery is always refreshing and interesting to me.
Well worth the purchase.
You can’t go wrong with CCJ.

Really enjoyed

Really enjoyed this book. My favorite female narrator is Wesleigh Siobhan but Sean Criden is not my favorite male narrator but he did really well in this one, I though he fit the part. This book kept me interested. looking forward to next in series

I enjoyed this book!! The love before and after was charming and I liked that the main characters where able to tie up loose ends. Good audiobook.
