Push Though it!

I ended up listening to this whole series in 3 days.... I am new to auditable so I don't know if that's normal 🤣 Yes this is broken into several books but it's one story. the character development is amazing. this is an amazing series! there will be parts that you just roll your eyes at, but push though it!

Great First Book!

I've never heard of this series before and stumbled upon it looking for a sci-fi romance series. Loved the first book so far! The story is well put together, great description without being cheesy or using the same descriptive words over and over. I could actually see what was happening. Love the connection that is starting to grow between the 2 main characters and I'm hooked waiting for answers :-) I can't wait to start book 2! Oh!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the narrator's for this book! They are perfect!! I know Leander is HOT just by the sound of his voice! I like that Taylor's voice is narrated by a girl (without an accent) and Leander's is by a man (he has an Aussie/Brit accent...and I'm totally ok with that!) ;-) All too often there is only 1 narrator and he reads for both parts...weird lol. Crossing my fingers this series keeps momentum!

Not long enough

All these books are too short to spend a credit on but it's well written and the narrators are fantastic. The story is interesting but there should really be a box set for such short novels.

Got me hooked!!

Shane and Mackenzie did an amazing job. there's something funky with the last 3 chapters. At first I thought the beginning was a little weak. But I was absolutely hooked by the end and have to know more!! so on to the next one. And yes, this is the length of a novella that ends on a huge cliffside. Sometimes bite sized stories are nice. No complaints from me so far.

Very happy with the Narrator and I can't but come back and revisit this over and over. <3

Great start

This book is filled with action, suspense, and intrigue. The narrators which are among my favorite, does a excellent job bringing the characters in this story to life. My only criticism is breaking these short books up in order to end in a cliffhanger; this should be one book containing all of the books in the series; or at the very most, two books. The way it is laid out is a money/credit pit and unfair to listeners.

3rd shift worker here was very skeptical at first. I saw one of my favorite voice actors was on this audible and best decision I ever made to give it a go now on we go to book two !!!

Pretty good and exciting, I agree with some of the other reviews where they say it's too short. The writing is good and intriguing, and it's a quick read.

male and female voice actors!

pretty good re telling of beauty and the beast. he is a warrior elf in this one and very sexy. this is a mated at first sniff type story. the world building is interesting (I love get books) interested to see where things go

Excellent story!

I checked this out because the series had been recommended by some bookfriends. Normally I don't read much PNR, but decided to give this series a try. Wow! I'm so glad I did. The author did a great job of keeping the story moving quickly and it kept me on my toes for sure! I loved learning about the characters and was immediately sucked into this story and I cannot wait to see what happens next. What made this even better was the performance of the narrators. That really clinched it for me. MacKenzie Cartwright was fantastic as Taylor. She has a great voice and was able to make me feel all of the emotions that Taylor was going through. This was my first narration by her and I can tell you it will not be my last. Shane East does such a great job at injecting emotion, charm and sexiness into every character he voices and Leander was no exception.
