great book

very good book believable story did not really like the reader sonny was a real peace of work

eye opener

a real inside look of life in an outlaw club.... no sugar coating it... a must-read

Honest, informative and well done.

A wonderful read (listen). A very open and honest memoir, well written with the perfect narration. I feel like I know Mr. Christie, at least I would like to meet him. A true peace seeker in a world of those looking for anything but peace. Thank you for a great book!

ignore the negative

This book seem to have a lot of bad reviews after listening to it I would have to say that I disagree. It’s not the greatest thing that you ever listen to, but worth the credit.

Better than Sonny's book

I enjoyed the "peace maker" side of the 81 back in the day better than Barger's book based on the same time frame.

Outlaw/Freedom/Courage

I love your spirit Mr Christie! You lived a hell of a life!! Tyrants hate that. Takes courage to stand for what you believe in.

True North

I was never a 1% biker, but that life always had a pull on me. This book really pulls you into something real. George lived this life, and still held true north in his life. Much respect to him. Awesome book.

great read

a perfect example of how modern society and lack of values can affect the toughest of men. just another bullet point. for the argument that i have outlived my world.

awesome book by an awesome outlaw.

what covering George's Early Childhood right through till his days is president of the Ventura Chapter of the Hells Angels. Right up until getting incarcerated again at 68 years old for something he did not do. This book never fails to deliver. even took the time to email mr. Christie myself and was pleasantly surprised at how nice of a man he is and how he took the time to answer me. I don't believe for a second that this man never rat on anybody nobody is in prison on the back of his testimony and nobody can drop documents proving that he ever ratted. I think others jealousy should be looked at long before anybody ever considers this man anything but a stand-up guy.

Like any great book...

It takes one right along for the ride. Great listen. What a life, Mr Christie.
