Music

I have one complaint about this book and that is the cheesy music in between chapters. Please stop putting music in the book it is better without it!

Didn't want to put it down. A must read

If you suspense, drama and romance this the book for you. It is fast paced and keeps you on the edge.

Great Book. Must Read

Every Waking Moment had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to the end! At times my heart would pound & held my breath, just hoping "Emma, Max, & Preston" would get away. I also liked that this book was not filled with flashbacks. Although I could do without the music between chapter.

I enjoyed this book. I thought it was well written and can appreciate the issues that diabets have.

Every Waking Moment was a great read by Brenda Novak. Emma has been controlled by a very dangerous man for the last six years and has finally escaped with her son. She took her son and went across the country looking for freedom and a new start. Unfortunately her ex and Max’s father won’t give up and will do anything to get both back. Emma meets Preston while on the run but Preston wants nothing to do with her young son because he reminds him of his deceased son. But he feels compelled to help both of them, even when it gets dangerous. But Preston won’t let them deter him from pursuing the man that he believes killed his son. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read more by Brenda Novak.

Great book!

This was my introduction book to Audible and it got me hooked. I listen in my car while commuting and found it hard to not bring it in and listen at home on the weekends. Great story!

Absolutely loved this book

Every Waking Moment by Brenda Novak was a great book, it has suspense, danger and plenty of steam. The characters are well written and you couldn’t help but fall for them. Emma has fled with her five years old son from his dangerous father, will they be able to stay ahead of him. Preston is a man on a mission and has no time for the beautiful woman and her child, but will he be able to turn his back on them. This is where the danger starts and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Lenore Zann did a fantastic job narrating she made the characters really come alive and she was able to make you feel what the characters were going through. I absolutely loved this audiobook and I highly recommended it.

Suspenseful

This book kept me engaged with its close calls and fairly well-developed characters. The son's diabetes was integral to the story and I learned a lot about the disease. The themes of spousal abuse and obsession with revenge were credible. The love scenes were steamy but not overly explicit. The reader's voice sounds a little child-like at first, but I quickly got used to it. The only jarring note was the way any non-essential female character was made to sound like a little girl from deep Texas!
