A once-peaceful empire threatens from the West as an undead uprising begins.
The great Temple of Archons must still be opened.
But at last, after untold thousands of years, the redemption is at hand…

Minor nit-picks:
There are some instances of the narrator pronouncing names differently in later books, or sometimes within the same chapter. The author overuses certain words and phrases, though I can't fault him too much for that in an eleven-volume series. Mostly, he goes out of his way to refer to characters by their descriptions rather than their names (seemingly in an effort to not use their names too much), which is helpful in keeping the reader mindful of each character's race, role, and background, but does start to grate a bit after a time. As noted, though, these are minor nit-picks and probably more a sign of my own pedantry than the author's or narrator's skill. I highly recommend giving the series a listen.
