another great book in the series

This was a fun book to read, with some nice humor and great development into one of the characters we have seen over all the books but never really knew much about. I have thouroughly enjoyed these books, and this one does not disappoint. One note: this comes before the fifth book of the Night Huntress series, and after the first Nt Huntress World bk. Made My Commute Shorter!

I think it's safe to say that I'm addicted to these books. Lord knows what I'm going to do when I run out of Night Huntress books to read. I can be listening to perfectly good audiobooks and I just keep thinking that there's still Night Huntress books that I haven't listened to yet. But to this book in particular, it was great. I loved seeing another side of the emotionless and stoic Mencheres that we'd seen so far in the other books. In this book, Mencheres falls hard and fast for Kira and we get to see his walls come down. We also get to see/hear what's in his head and his thoughts are anything but emotionless. And Kira is a terrific main character. She's strong and thinks things out. She refuses to be swayed from her beliefs by something that's misleading.

This was a very good story. I liked the narrator much better in this book than I do in the Cat and Bones stories. I think that's mostly because she wasn't screwing up Mencheres' voice the way she does Bones'.

I do have to admit, though, I will be glad to get back to a book starring Cat and Bones.

Best book ever

This is a book you can read over and over and over just loved it.

i own this book and all the rest in the different series in ALL forms, nook, kindle, google, audio, hardback. i have read this series & the original series with the spin-off of 100's of times. YEAH IT'S THAT GOOD

VERY EYE OPENING! I LEARNED SO MUCH!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Eternal Kiss of Darkness the most enjoyable?

I LOVE the insight I got into Kira and Mencheres! Before this book, I had a very low opinion of Kira and this book helped me see her for who she really is. I feel HORRIBLE for how I felt about her before. Knowing so much more about Menchares only makes me love him more!!!

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

As with all the other Jeanine Frost books, I love all the characters! Bones still cracks me up every time I hear him. I love his voice as it stands out the most!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would not curse this book to a film, Just my opinion.

I hope Jeanine continues to write based on the characters from this series. I love this world, the characters and I will NEVER get tired of her stories!!!
