Planned tours fall apart to reveal that hitchhiking and couch surfing with strangers is the best way to travel. Dreams of far off lands become a reality as she steps foot at the Great Wall, Taj Mahal, the Coliseum, and the Great Pyramids. Working unconventional jobs in several countries takes her from a maids uniform, to the race tracks, to television, and even onto the red carpet. Her sixth sense guides her through dangerous situations, with a few scrapes along the way. Reappearing friends and romances brighten her way as she is invited into their lives and cultures. She learns that life is not something to be spent working and planning for the future; it is meant to be lived now.
