Great read for a newbie to midterm rentals

Great read for beginners she gives a lot of info you can understand and a ton of helpful hints!

MTR Nuances Were Explained Well

We have short term rentals and long term rentals but none that are mid term. I thought I have enough knowledge and experience from the other types of rentals to just jump into MTRs but thought maybe I should listen to this book first and I’m so glad that I did since there are some differences with MTRs that I didn’t consider and was not very well versed on the different listing platforms outside of ABB. I really appreciate the way the author explained the differences in MTRs from the other types, the listing platforms and how to manage them differently. I definitely learned a lot and hope anyone who is interested in this space to listen to this book. Also, I appreciate that she offers a free MTR lease with the purchase of the book so I will definitely be reaching out for that.

As a systems person, I like to have them as dialed in as possible before starting something! Erin provides step-by-step workflows while encouraging you to not over analyze the process and just do it! I finished this listen with a wealth of knowledge and confidence for transitioning my long term rental to a mid term!

Step by step to MTR, I’m proof!

For the past year I’ve been tearing out carpets, redoing bathrooms, painting, plumbing and every imaginable DIY task all while listening to this book. The thoughts and ideas from Erin were becoming etched in my brain. I’m a paycheck to paycheck single empty nester. Last month I launched on Furnish Finder and rented in five days with all rent up front. I was able to nail my price point, amenities, and listed with professional photos, all due to this book. It’s gonna be a different Christmas for me, thanks to this book and the countless points and details. Erin is the most informed person out there on MTR and I highly suggest you follow her on all platforms if you’re serious about MTR’s. I consider this book the Bible of MTR’s and cannot thank her enough for writing this how book.

So helpful

I had purchased another book about setting up short term and mid term rentals, and it was very broad and vague, but this book is excellent because it is really a nuts and bolts book. The author breaks down all the necessary components to create a successful mid term rental. Some of these components include: how to market your property, purchasing insurance, identifying and explaining the various platforms to use for midterm rentals.

Down to earth

I love the content here in Erin's book. She's very down to earth and makes the daunting task of self management and a more involved rental strategy relatable. Wasn't just another pep talk book but provided actionable information and documents to help me get started on my first MTR. Thank you!
