Resumen del Editor

In the bible of one of the oldest Christian sects, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, are the books of Enoch and Jubilees. These ancient texts are missing from the bibles of other Christian sects and denominations. The books reveal the secrets of the Watchers, the fallen angels who mated with women. The texts describe the offspring of this unholy union and how it brought evil into the world in the forms of the Giants, the Men of Renown, and the Nephilim, who were half human and half demon.

By reading these two books we can clearly see what knowledge and mysteries we have missed. Many of the early church fathers believed the Enochian writings were authentic. Justin Martyr ascribed all evil to demons whom he alleged to be the offspring of the angels who fell through lust for women, directly referencing the Book of Enoch. The Book of Jude quotes directly from the Book of Enoch (EN.2:1), where he writes in Jude verse 15, "to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly." As a matter of fact, it is a word-for-word quote.

Fragments of ten Enoch manuscripts were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Book of Jubilees, also known as The Little Genesis and The Apocalypse of Moses, opens with an extraordinary claim of authorship. It is attributed to the very hand of Moses; penned while he was on Mount Sinai, as an angel of God dictated to him regarding those events that transpired from the beginning of the world. The story is written from the viewpoint of the angel. The angelic monologue takes place after the exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt. The setting is atop Mount Sinai, where Moses was summoned by God. The text then unfolds as the angel reveals heaven's viewpoint of history. We are led through the creation of man, Adam's fall from grace, the union of fallen angels and earthly women, the birth of demonic offspring, the cleansing of the earth by flood.

In this book we present clear translations with enlightening commentary.

I tried to listen to this

I have a fascination with the non-canonical texts. Unfortunately after listening to this for 15 minutes, then skipping ahead to listen to other sections I find this book unlistenable. The narration is slow and dull. There was no promise of interesting insights ahead that I percieved.
In fairness I only listened to about 30 minutes of this in all. Perhaps I missed the great parts. I doubt that.
